Hypermetal is a Gold Sponsor of the Porto Space Team, a university-based group dedicated to the development of aerospace systems and to promoting space engineering in Portugal. This partnership reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation, young talent, and the future of the aerospace sector.
The Porto Space Team, composed of students from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), focuses on the design and development of rockets, satellites, and technologies related to suborbital flight, participating in international competitions and programmes.
Hypermetal’s support will enable the team to access metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) components, as well as specialised technical knowledge in this technology, widely used in the most demanding space applications.
