Hypermetal took part, as an exhibitor, in the Industry Day promoted by idD Portugal Defence, held on 4 February 2026 at Quartel da Serra do Pilar, with the logistical support of the Portuguese Army.
The initiative brought together relevant companies and stakeholders from the defence ecosystem, including Rheinmetall Landsysteme, KNDS and ARTEC, with the aim of promoting collaboration opportunities and the integration of Portuguese industry into the supply chains of these German companies.
For Hypermetal, this was a particularly relevant setting to showcase its metal additive manufacturing capabilities for defence applications, as well as to engage with strategic stakeholders in the fields of industrial cooperation and technological development.
The event included presentations, an exhibition area and bilateral meetings in a “supplier speed dating” format, strengthening the connection between national industry and defence investments being made in Portugal.
Hypermetal’s participation is aligned with its positioning in technologically demanding sectors, where the ability to produce complex metal components with high performance and development flexibility represents a clear added value for advanced industrial programmes.
