Hypermetal’s CEO, Afonso Nogueira, took part today in CASSINI Matchmaking, a side event of the European Space Conference, held in Brussels on the first day of the conference.
In his presentation, Hypermetal highlighted its industrial growth strategy in large-format LPBF metal additive manufacturing, built on EN9100-certified capabilities and focused on the qualified production of critical metal components for the Space and Defence sectors.
The company’s focus is particularly on Inconel propulsion, thermal management and structural applications, areas in which the combination of performance, reliability and industrialisation capability is especially demanding.
This participation enabled Hypermetal to engage with investors and industrial stakeholders who view advanced manufacturing as a strategic asset for Europe’s competitiveness and technological autonomy in the space domain.
The event also provided an important setting to strengthen Hypermetal’s visibility within advanced industrial value chains, where the ability to manufacture complex, qualified metal components ready for integration into critical applications is becoming increasingly relevant to the future of the European space sector.
