On 23 and 24 April 2026, the Mechanical Engineering Days ’26 will take place at the University of Minho, on the Azurém Campus in Guimarães, according to the official agenda of the School of Engineering.
On 23 April at 11:15 am, Isabel Pereira, representing Hypermetal, will deliver a one-hour session dedicated to metal additive manufacturing.
This participation reflects Hypermetal’s commitment to strengthening the connection between academia and industry, promoting the sharing of knowledge on advanced manufacturing technologies and their application in demanding industrial contexts.
It will also be an opportunity to present students with some of the technical, industrial and strategic challenges associated with metal additive manufacturing, at a time when these technologies are playing an increasingly important role in engineering and European industry.
