Hypermetal was represented at Sprace Propulsion Conference, in Glasgow, Scotland, on the 20th to 23rd May 2024, by our CEO Afonso Nogueira. There, we had the honour of being mentioned by Omnidea’s Horárcio Moreira, who spoke about the innovative additive manufactured Cobalt Chrome 25KN engine and all the findings during the its development. The process was a joint effort of Omnidea’s engineering team, along with Hypermetal as a manufaturer and the oversight and support of the European Space Agency – ESA.

At Hypermetal we are commited to building the future, one layer at a time.

Hypermetal attended the 5th edition of the Portugal Railway Summit at the National Railway Museum in Entroncamento, organised by the PFP – Portuguese Railway Cluster Platform Association.

Held on 21 and 22 May, this event brought together the main players in the railway industry. The future of the railway in Portugal and beyond was discussed, with around 700 participants. Hypermetal was represented by Filipe Silva, our technical director.

Hypermetal is a proud sponsor of the XXXV Jornadas de Terapêutica at ICBAS at the Universidade do Porto. This year, the Jornadas de Terapêutica will be held from the 16^th to the 18^th may 2024. This event includes several scientific conferences, courses, a cultural programme and the 25^th edition of the Silva Araújo Prize for scientific work of medical students. Hypermetal is already a reference in the industrial and space sectors and wishes to become a reference in the medical sector in the future.
